FollowMee GPS Tracker converts your iPhone or iPad into a GPS tracking device. Installing this app to the device that you want to track, you can monitor its whereabouts on the FollowMee.com web site. Using this app, you can track your family members, company devices, or even your employees.
► Location Monitor
Simply login to the FollowMee.com web site with your desktop or mobile browser. 3-day location history is maintained. Geofencing, location reporting, location sharing, and other tracking services are available on the web site.
► Always On
Once the app starts, it runs quietly in the background and requires no human interaction. It will restart itself after reboots, or terminated by the phone user. It only stops when the stop button is pressed.
► Configurable App Settings
You can configure tracking power, tracking schedule, or even a password protected lock screen. Business users can use MDM to deploy this app and its settings to the remote devices.
► Tracking Multiple Devices
You can track multiple devices, including devices of other mobile platforms, in your account. All your devices are shown on the same map.
► Multiple Mobile Platforms
Apps for other mobile platforms are available on the FollowMee.com web site.
► No-Internet Contingency
Cellular or Wifi connection is required to upload location data to the FollowMee server. When connection is interrupted, the app continue to track and data is saved in the device storage. When connection resumes, data is then uploaded. After that, your map will show up-to-date data.
► SOS Panic Button
Email your current location and call a designated telephone number through cellular (for iPhone) or VOIP (for iPad or iPod Touch).
SIDE NOTE
► Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

I installed the first version a while ago and it has improved to a simple and effective way of tracking your phone, car, relative or any other thing/someone you can give/atach your phone to.
It uses very little battery and now you can share your position/tracks without giving out your web account info.
You can even set it to autostart so you can set it up for someone that is not into gps/gadgets, maybe your mom or grandma.
BUY IT. Money well spent. Congrats to the developers.
I am using Followmee on an iPhone 3GS with 4.1, an i4 on ios 5 and a BB Curve with os 5. It does exactly what I need! Tracks our phones, the mobile view is very handy, and runs in the background. Yesterday my daughter shut off her BB connection all evening, but this morning all the days previous locations show on the map! Cached, and uploaded, amazingly handy! Thank you for your hard work :-)
The app works great if the only GPS app we need to see where kids are Ive installed it on every device I have we also save on cellular minutes during the day!!!
It performed just as described. I went on a 1000 mile road trip in Algoma with my 3G IPad, and my wife was able to follow my progress on her laptop at home.
My relatives will now get their own copies, to track their kids, who all have Apple devices.
This App gives peace of mind!
Been using this app for the last month. I like the way I can customize GPS usage. I also like accessing tracking data on website from different pc and macs.

I spend a lot of time on the road and always like to look back to ensure I am routing efficiently. This has been a laborious challenge until I found this app. I purchased this version on my iPhone5 as a test and then as I learned more about it, decided to try repurposing an older iPod Touch 4G (one of my kids discarded units since getting an iPhone5c) so I loaded the free version - works flawlessly.
Not having a data plan doesnt effect me at all. When in WiFi range, it automatically connects and uploads all data collected since last upload - couldnt get any easier. With the ability to easily download tracks (gps points) from the web site in multiple formats (CSV, KML...) I can quickly load data into google maps and see where Ive been and for how long. I know this app will save me time and money - many times the minorcost of the app.

Some bad moments
Its $3.99/ device you want to track and does no more than the free find my iPhone app.
The geofence feature is why I bought this comic book app. Inaccurate. Unreliable. Inconsistent. Electronic junk food.
Just installed and seems to do very well. Time will tell just how good it is. Im away from home a lot and this will keep my wife from worrying too much.
I was concerned that with the demise of Google Latitude that I would have to deal with some clunky expensive tracking app. This app is excellent anf very inexpensive.
I wanted an app that did not rely on location settings enabled but cellular as well. This said Cell available….misleading and clumsy app
My daughter recently received an IPhone 5. She a teenager and walk home from school. I love this app to give me status where she is. I worked and I sometime come home late. Teenager sometime claimed there home and they with there friends. I trust her, but you can not be to careful this day. I recommend this app, because you can view the status in any PC or your smartphone.
